Hey everyone! I hope you had a very plesant Labor Day weekend. I just posted a new poll up in the 'Awards Awards Given to Green Day by GDF' board. After a week of being up, I will make another announcement to announce the winner of the award. I am going to make an announcement every week to tell everyone what the new topic is, and when that poll is over, I will make another announcement to tell you who the winner is. Once I announce the winner, I will then lock the old poll and make a new one. This week, the topic is, "Who is the hottest member of the Green Day Trio?" and no, there is no ''All three of them are equally hott!" option. If you decide not to vote, that is your option. I will leave this announcement up until we decide to stop having the awards [which will either be because we have run out of awards or beccause the board has become inactive or deleted.], because it has the rules and basic idea of the awards, for new members. But when I announce a new winner, I will delete the old winner from the previous, so that it does not clutter up the board announcements . The same thing goes with the award polls. Once the new one is up, the old announcement will be deleted from the announcements. But the locked polls will remain under the 'Awards Awards Given to Green Day by GDF' board. I know I may not be the best at explaining, so if you have any questions at all, no matter how stupid feel free to personal message me or Holiday [the admin]. She or I will be more than happy to answer it for you.
Here is a list of rules that you MUST abide by. If you refuse to do so, then you will be suspended for 3 days and get a warning for one month. If you break any other rule on this site during that one month, then you will be banned. We will also ban your IP adress, so the answer is no, you cannot get another account while having a warning or being banned. The staff is not as mentally challenged as you think.
Rules of Voting. -You cannot submit your vote via reply to the thread. You must submit your vote directly under where it says "Poll", or else it WILL NOT be counted.
-Do not insult or put down other people because of what they voted, if they choose to share. Just because they did not vote the same person as you did, does not mean that you get to insult them or put them down in any way, shape, or form. If you do this, you will get a warning that will remain for a month, and suspended from the site for 3 days, and if you do not obey the rules while you still have the warning, you will be banned. As you can tell, the staff and myself take this VERY seriously and it will not be tolerated. We can also see your IP adress, so if you make another acccount once you have been banned/gotten a warning, it will not work. So do not even think about doing it. Because if we ban you, we ban your IP adress as well. But if you only have a warning, you will not get out of it that easily, don't you worry, ^_^.
-You may share once you have voted, if you wish, by replying to the thread underneath the poll. However, this is not required. If you would like to talk with other members about your reasons for voting that person and not the others, than you may do that as well.
-You are not allowed to vote more than once. Proboards will not allow you to do it anyway, but I am just going to say it. The staff CAN see who is voting for who and how many times you voted. Same thing goes with the IP adress, do not think that you can make more accounts to vote for a person more than once. we will delete the votes, and give all of those accounts a warning. Actually, we will delete those accounts. Except for the one that you were origionally using, which will recieve a warning for one month.
If there happens to be a tie: There will be a face off for three days between the two members of the Green Day Trio [since the awards will always be for one of them, so it does not only pertain to this week's poll.] instead of the next week's poll. Therefore, there will be people who voted for the person who lost, and that is how we will determine who is the official winner. If there is a tie at the end of that week, then we will declare a tie.
Sorry if any of this seemed redundant, but sometimes you have to be that way to get it through people's minds.
