If you have checked the official Green Day site lately, [www.greenday.com] then you would know that there is some ''big news'' comming tomorrow [Tuesday.] I am soo excited...I wonder what it is! I hope that it is something worth getting exctied for and something that is worth waiting for...or else I will be really upset.  lol. I also saw that Green Day was back from their summer vacation and back in the studio. Yay! I am so excited for the new cd. That means that they are going to go back on tour soon, which is even more exciting

*catches Holiday* I think they just went into the studio recently. On the website, it said "Billie, Mike, and Tre are BACK IN THE STUDIO?! We'll have the scoop next week!" and then there was a new post on News that said "Big news comming on Tuesday...you'll want to be here." and that was exact quotes. I am beyond excited

The Saints Are Coming
As promised, we are very proud to unveil the big news we've hinted at. In the coming weeks, we'll be going into the studio with U2 to record a cover of the song "The Saints Are Coming," which was originally recorded by Scottish punk band, The Skids. We were asked by U2 to record the song with them to benefit Music Rising (www.musicrising.org), an organization that replaces instruments musicians lost in Hurricane Katrina's wake. One year later, the devastation is still fresh in our minds, and we'd like to keep it in yours. New Orleans has always been a special city to us, being a hotbed of music and creativity, and it's hard to believe parts of the gulf region still remain devastated. We feel that it's important to continue to raise awareness.
